It has come time for me to get serious about allowing Marlusha
to find a new captain. Due to many other personal obligations I am not
able to
keep her up or use her as she should be.
Marlusha needs considerable work. She has a sound hull with a few exceptions,
but could be seaworthy quickly. There is quite a lot of work to be done
around the windows on the sides of the main salon, and soft wood in other
places topside. Mechanically she is sound. I have done a lot of work on
the electrical systems and have designs and supplies for more.
At this point any serious offer will be considered. I will carefully consider
any offers of trade. Some cash needs to be raised to take care of the storage
bill. Aside from that anything goes. Trades should be reasonable considering
a value of $20,000.00 where is-as is.
In addition I will pledge to support the new owners with at least six
full days of work on the boat to help get her in the water. I would also
be willing to run the boat as far as the Seattle area for a new owner who
would cover expenses.
I have a lot of pictures of the boat in her present condition. Please
view the photo gallery and the notes on the linked page. If you have any
questions, or suggestions, do not hesitate to email me. CaptainSam@AlaskaSeaVentures.com
Thank you for your consideration,
Sam Molletti
